Maribor (May 2011): CESLA participation at the Power Engineering Conference

On 10-12 May 2011, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor hosted the 20th International Conference Power Engineering, supported by UN Economic Commission within the frame of the Energy Efficiency 21 Programme (EE21).

On Tuesday, 10 May 2011, a number of leading lectures were delivered at the conference, followed by a round table titled “Electric vehicles – How to overcome obstacles with reliable and efficient energy supply?” Also participating was TECES, with the lecture “CESLA project – results and the present state of e-mobility in Podravje”. The fundamental purpose of the round table was to provide starting points for the Podravje region as the sample region for electric mobility, as well as to forge ties between interested actors and the existing SMEs in the region.

The CESLA booth on Smetanova ulica offered the public the opportunity to also obtain direct advice on actual use of electric vehicles. At the same time, it was also possible to test the electric car and the charging station of Elektro Maribor d.d., as well as the CESLA electric bikes / PEDELECs.
